I have project-itis
There, I said it. I have project-itis. A need to start yet another project and leave the raft of others for a day that my attention will wander back to them. I just can’t help myself. My brain craves new, exciting problems to solve. I’m a project junky.
I initially categorised it as ‘excessive-project syndrome’. My wife (who is a scientist) says that, concisely, it should be ‘excessive-unfinished-project syndrome’, because it is the unfinished part that is the problem! I call it project-itis, because it is friendlier.

Wooden furniture, house renovations, architecture, landscaping, scratch-built vehicles, urban personal transportation, game development, websites, microprocessor tinkering, my business…
…and somewhere in there; a wife, two young kids, two cats, friends, and many hobbies!

Hi tilman. Thanks for the comment 🙂 We still have the camper – haven’t taken it out much lately, but visitors often use it when they stay. I have never regretted removing the cooking facilities (and wardrobe) and using it mostly as a bed room. Having the full size bed with proper mattress makes it so much more enjoyable to stay in! We even take the espresso machine with us, and camp in style 🙂 I have yet to see a caravan that can sleep so many (5) in such a small package. The first thing you’ll want to do when you get your poptop (if you haven’t already) is check the gas struts are still working, and replace them if they aren’t. They are not that expensive and make it so much easier to camp and de-camp. Will post more photos when i get a chance – I may need to borrow a camera with a lens that can take photos in small spaces, because it’s pretty difficult to get good photos of the interior.

I love the make over you have done on the camper, I am in the process of updating my 1979 expander ( Priscilla ) and want to add the drop down shelf over the sleeping pod.
Might I ask please what hinges you used and any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Regards Dave
